E3 automotive plugs have three legs securing the DiamondFIRE electrode to the shell. This allows for excellent heat transfer, and helps to create more turbulence in the cylinder. The patented DiamondFIRE side wire is proven to increase power, reduce fuel consumption and improve hydrocarbon emissions in long-term use. Brought my 2012 Tacoma back alive!
About 3 months ago replaced spark plugs on my 2012 Toyota Tacoma 2.7L engine with NGK 4904 ILFR6T11 LASER IRIDIUM Spark Plugs and experienced a noticeable drop in performance over the original plugs I replaced. Had to do something so in searching for some new plugs I stumbled on the E3.68. I had used the E3 in small engine applications before and was impressed so I sprung for 4 of the E3.68's and replaced the NGK Iridiums. WOW is all I can say. My little Tacoma runs better, smoother and faster with an increase in gas mileage. I manually calculate MPG and have a 13% increase over the original plugs before I replaced them with NGK and 17% increase in MPG over the NGK Iridiums. This will be my go to plugs on every application from now on. Promises made, promises kept. 10 STARS all the way!

3rd Gen Tacoma - Awesome upgrade
After install, and about a week of testing (300 miles so far) with my new E3 spark plugs (E3.68 is the installed plug) its definitely a noticeable difference compared to the OEM plugs. My old plugs were changed at 37,500 miles and had around 20-25K left in them (see photos for comparison). The reason I changed them out is I was looking for more efficiency and performance with the engine since my taco is quite heavy and needs some extra oomf.

The engine runs quieter at Idle, engine startup sounds smoother, the low end RPM's feel a lot smoother through acceleration, and gas mileage has gone up around 1-1.4mpg.

For $6 a plug, and a $7 socket, total of $43...its a well worthy upgrade to help your engine run a bit smoother and more efficient.

i just replaced my spark plugs in my 2006 Xterra, that old engine (298000kms/186000m)purr like a kitten now.I didn't have them in long enough to tell about the economy but all my previous vehicles were equipped with E3 plugs and my fuel mileage was better,i highly recommend them. These are used by professional
racers so you can thrust that product these guys are putting in engines worth more than my vehicle alone.

Great Mid Range RPM
I had a set installed in my 350z... Took a while to install but that's the fault of the engine setup of the VQ35DE not the plugs ;). Once in I noticed that the mid range RPMs felt much smoother and that my overall gas mileage seemed to improve.

I believe in this technology and strongly recommend these plugs.
more power, reduced emissions, improved fuel efficiency, longer life, faster starts
